The Customised Solutions investment team is a specialised business unit within RMB Asset Management focusing on the provision of alternative investment offerings and bespoke solutions for clients. Recognised by the industry as a pioneer in the field of derivative fund management, the team focuses on the management of downside risk and the reduction of volatility and correlation.
With a 9-year track record of managing new generation portfolios within segregated and pooled portfolio environments, our emphasis is on the provision of innovative products characterised by low volatility, low equity market correlation, capital protected real returns and liability matching attributes. Our innovative investment platform provides our clients with access to a broad range of solutions that include liability-driven investments, absolute return, guaranteed and specialist structured solutions.
The team currently manages money for more than 200 institutional clients with the primary focus on the delivery of competitive performance whilst effectively managing risk. Our investment processes place greater emphasis on managing risk in order to attain the desired performance outcome rather than focusing on delivering out-performance relative to our peers. It is for this reason that our portfolios have a specific role to play in the broader investment strategy of the institutional investor.
